Church Planting

God desires new churches to be formed among all people in all places.

With the help of other seasoned church planters, EFCA Southeast partners with Planting Churches Ministries, as directed by Bruce Redmond, to see these new communities of faith established.

We believe this is best done by pastors and core leaders who have been assessed for the maturity and ministry skills that are needed for this mission. Contact Bruce Redmond or Hugo Concha (for church planting en Español) to learn more.

Pastoral Care & Coaching

The health of a local church is often related to the health of the local pastor.

Pastoral Care and Coaching in the EFCA Southeast works primarily through regional pastors’ meetings and one-to-one coaching from seasoned pastors.

To learn more about regional meetings or to find a mentor, contact Marc Ramirez.

Organizational Support

Rendering to Caesar what belongs to Caesar can take time and energy.

Being in compliance with state and local requirements is often overlooked.  As much as possible, the EFCA Southeast is here to help you navigate things like 501(c)3 issues, immigration, governmental paperwork and the like.

Recommended Resources

Credentialing

We value the credentialing process and affirmation of qualified leaders. But a seminary background isn’t required.

  • EFCA GATEWAY. EFCA GATEWAY provides unique, language-specific theological training for pastors and leaders, including ethnic, urban and other non-traditional students. GATEWAY is designed for leaders who need theological and pastoral training, but lack the time and resources to access traditional seminary education.
  • Ministry Licenses and Certificates. Learn more about the requirements for a ministry license or certificate in the EFCA.

Contact Marc Ramirez with your credentialing questions.
